2017 Altitude Awards Finalists Announced

After being in undated with nominations and applications, This years finalists are confirmed in the 2017 Altitude Awards for the recognition of local achievers.

The Altitude Awards are presented by Women with Altitude and are held annually to provide an opportunity to acknowledge those who have made outstanding contributions as business owners, volunteers, employees, creative thinkers and leaders.

Over 100 finalists across 15 award categories will be recognised at a special cocktail event in their honour, as part of this year’s Women with Altitude Awards.

This exclusive private party will be held after hours at The Commonwealth Bank in Penrith on Thursday, 18 th May 2017.

Women with Altitude founder, Andrea Turner-Boys, explains, “ The interest this year has been phenomenal. We have opened up the field, inviting partners to be acknowledged in the Two Peas partnership category, and in our Young entrepreneurs we have a finalist as young as ten years old.

“Each finalist has been chosen for outstanding work in their field and will be recognised at this exclusive function in their honour. This year’s awards attracted our strongest field of applicants yet, with more than 400 businesses applying, and over 5000 people voting in the public decided categories,” she added.

An independent judging panel adjudicates the awards, and winners of each category will be announced at a Luncheon on Friday 9 th June at the Liverpool Catholic Club.

York Jewellers, the Commonwealth Bank, Complete Recruitment and Interactive Business Advisors sponsor the event with 16 award categories to be announced.

The overall Business Woman of the Year will be awarded from the field of 15 category winners.
