The wait is over! The brand-new playground at Jack Gow Reserve in McGraths Hill is officially open, and it promises to be a fantastic addition to the neighborhood.

Nestled along Andrew Thompson Drive, the playground is designed with input from the community, ensuring that it truly caters to the needs and desires of local families.

This impressive playground features an array of engaging activities for children of all ages. Highlights include a towering climbing structure complete with slides, a variety of swings—including both seated and nest swings—ground-level trampolines, a classic see-saw, a fun spinner, and an imaginative play cubby that also serves as a charging station.

To enhance the outdoor experience, the playground is accompanied by a new riding and walking path, promoting physical activity and providing a scenic route for families and walkers. The area is well-equipped for comfort, featuring picnic tables, benches, and ample seating options, making it an ideal spot for family gatherings or a quick outdoor snack.

In recognition of the Australian sun, shade sails have been thoughtfully installed above both play and seating areas, ensuring that kids can play safely while parents relax. The inclusion of strategically placed bins and enhanced landscaping further beautifies the space, making it not just a place for play but also a welcoming community hub. Visit the new playground at Jack Gow Reserve and experience the joy of play in a thoughtfully designed environment that truly reflects the spirit of McGraths Hill. It’s time to get outside, have fun, and enjoy all that this vibrant new space has to offer!
