$11.5m For Upgrade Castle Hill Showground

An $11.5m upgrade to the Castle Hill Showground main arena is on the way!
“I am proud to announce that Council have been successful in securing an $11.5m grant from the WestInvest program to transform the Castle Hill Showground main arena into a multi-purpose sport, recreational and entertainment venue.” said Hills Mayor, Dr Peter Gangemi
With this $11.5m grant, Council has now secured $33.6m of WestInvest funding for our community for the following projects
✅ $11.5m towards Castle Hill Showground main arena
✅ $15m towards a new indoor recreation centre at Horseworld
✅ $0.5m towards an upgrade of the Shire’s flood warning systems
✅ $4.6m towards a pedestrian bridge overpass, connecting Castle Hill Showground and Fred Caterson Reserve in Castle Hill
✅ $1.1m towards the extension of Livvi’s Place Playground at Bernie Mullane Reserve in Kellyville
✅ $900,000 towards the rejuvenation of the Baker Crescent Shops in Baulkham Hills
Dr Gangemi thanked the NSW Government and Premier Dominic Perrottet for supporting the Showground and all Council led WestInvest projects in The Hills. These projects will be transformational for our residents.
