Roundabout to be constructed at Foxall Road and Samantha Riley Drive

As part of the Samantha Riley Drive upgrade, a roundabout will be constructed at Foxall Road, Kellyville during the week starting 19 September 2016, weather permitting.

The roundabout construction will be carried out with the aim of increasing safety and improving traffic flow in an area busy with both road and new housing construction activity.

The Hills Shire Council’s General Manager, Dave Walker, has advised that while traffic delays are inevitable during the construction phase, motorists can look forward to improved traffic conditions following the roundabout’s completion.

“The upgrade of Samantha Riley Drive is important to serve our growing community both now and in the future,” Mr Walker said.

“Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time during the week of 19 September, or avoid the area where possible,” he said.

“I thank residents and commuters for their patience while we improve Samantha Riley Drive. I acknowledge that there are still many services to be relocated and we are working with the appropriate NSW Government agencies to ensure this happens as quickly as possible.”
