Photo opportunity: 2017 Hawkesbury Sports Awards

There will be a photo opportunity for media at Lynwood Country Club at 10am on Tuesday, 21 March. The photos will include Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Mary Lyons-Buckett, Castle Hill RSL Group President, Warren Glenny, and Western Sydney Academy of Sport’s Athlete Program Manager, Steve Hewson.

Winners of the 2016 Hawkesbury Sports Awards will also be in attendance, including Sports Person of the Year, Sarah Jordan, Junior Sports Person of the Year, Ashleigh Hill, All Abilities Sports Person of the Year, Sandy Freeman and Official of the Year, Donna Keith.

The 2017 Hawkesbury Sports Awards are proudly sponsored by Hawkesbury City Council and Lynwood Country Club.

Online nomination forms can be found at www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au. Nominations close at 5pm on Friday, 7 April 2017. A special presentation evening will take place at Lynwood Country Club on Monday, 29 May 2017.
