Permaculture Hawkesbury School Holiday Program
Make the kiddies’ school holiday days productive at Permaculture Hawkesbury Valley Inc’s Kids Gardening School at the Australiana Pioneer Village starting mid-April 2024.
Kids can learn about basic gardening, medicinal herbs, animal care, and worms and critters in a 2-week program. Every session will have nature walks, nature art, and weekly feeding and watering of chickens, ducks, and goats.
The 2-week program is available to kids ages 5 to 15 years old and is divided into four separate program days:
- Monday, 15 April
- Friday, 19 April
- Monday, 22 April
- Friday, 26 April
All sessions will run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to wear enclosed shoes (such as gumboots), a hat, and gardening gloves (optional) and bring a water bottle, morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. 
Tickets cost $45 (excluding the Eventbrite fee) per child per day, which can be booked online via Eventbrite: Permaculture Kinds Gardening School (School Holiday Program).
