Hawkesbury Council Seeks Residents’ Say on its Cultural Plan

Hawkesbury City Council Cultural Plan

The Hawkesbury City Council (HCC) seeks the community’s feedback on the Council’s Cultural Plan, which will remain open until Tuesday midnight, 7 May 2024.

The Council is in the works for a Cultural Plan to guide and promote ongoing improvements to the region’s arts, heritage, and cultural activities. The survey was opened on Monday, 8 April.

All survey participants can have the chance to score a $100 cultural venue gift card.

The Council shares the importance of culture in the region: “We know that the arts and culture enrich the lives of our community. From connecting with family and friends at the Hawkesbury Show to discovering a new children’s activity at Hawkesbury Regional Gallery, the Cultural Plan affects everyone.”

“We want to hear from you to understand what you love about arts and culture and your community, and any ideas for how to make [the region] a great cultural destination,” the Council mentioned.

“Your feedback is important to help shape the Cultural Plan so that culture in the [the region] can continue to provide something for everyone in our community.”

The survey can be accessed via the HCC’s community engagement website at www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au/cultural-plan-community-survey.
