Carols in the Hills

The Hills were alive with the sound of music and Christmas cheer over the weekend!

The Kenthurst Carols in the Park and the Glenhaven Carols by Candlelight were held on the 9th and 10th of December and was a great way to kick off the Christmas season. Despite the heat, many families and communities members flocked to enjoy the events.

The Annual Carols in the Park is run by the Rotary of Kenthurst in John Benyon Rotary Park. Although the rides were cancelled due to the extreme heat, the event was still a great success with entertainment and music, food trucks, a BBQ, and a special visit from Santa. Thank you to the Kenthurst Rotary for such a lovely community event to get us into the Christmas spirit.

The Glenhaven Carols by Candlelight was organised by the Glenhaven Carols Committee and the Friends of Glenhaven. The crowds flocked to enjoy the 23rd annual Carols by Candlelight at Glenhaven Oval. Mr and Mrs Claus were there along with the community to enjoy the evening of fun, food, and festivities.

There was even a fireworks display to top off the evening. Thank you to the Glenhaven Carols Committee, the Friends of Glenhaven, sponsors, and all volunteers who made this even possible. It was such a joyful and exciting way to get into a festive mood.

It was a great opportunity to join the communities of the Hills at the Kenthurst and Glenhaven Carols events
