Ringside View of The Best Boxers in Town
Wanderer Promotions has a simple but powerful philosophy: ‘Creating the champions of tomorrow, today’. For Wanderer Promotions owner Ricky Colosimo, it’s all about promoting boxing in NSW and across Australia.
And judging by his latest boxing extravaganza, Warehouse Rumble Pro-Am at Bella Vista Hotel, Colosimo is attracting not only some of the best pugilists in Australia but also huge crowds. With 70 boxers fighting it out, including six professional bouts, the November 24th event was packed with big-fight entertainment and close fights.
“Our goal is to change the stigma around boxing in Australia and show the transformative power the sport has on men and women who lace up the gloves,” said the boxer turned promoter. “We want to bring boxing back to the mainstream and put on the best fights.
“Wanderer Promotions has had amazing growth over the last year and we will look to televise fights next year. Each event has had over 1000 people in attendance.
“Our tagline is ‘Creating the champions of tomorrow, today’ and that’s what we are doing by hosting these events “We have a very exciting 2025 lined up and can’t wait to be a positive force and elevate the game in Australia. Warehouse Rumble 3 is just another step in a much larger vision of bringing boxing back to the mainstream public of Australia.
“We want to attract families and the younger generation and let our fighters be role models for the next generation to see what it means to be a champion. We have had amazing growth in just over a year! Can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
Wanderer Promotion had a strong presence at the recent Aus Fitness Expo in Sydney, which attracted more than 50,000 visitors. Colosimo said their stand was among the most popular at the event, and a big boost for their boxing promotions.
