NOVEMBER ART DATES

There are several art exhibitions happening in November so save these dates:

NOVEMBER 14: The Arthouse Pavilion Gallery in Dural is launching ART and…’Celebration’. This series of exhibitions will highlight a range of talented Sydney artists whose hands paint, hammer, twist, bend, fire, print, knit and weld.

The first exhibition will feature eight talented artists and will be held over two weekends November 14-15 and November 21-22: between 9am-5pm daily to allow for the control of numbers and social distancing. The event is a registered COVID-19 safe event with NSW Health. While the event is free, visitors will be required to register their details to attend. Event-goers can pre-register to secure their free ticket at www.artand.com. au or on the day at the Gallery entrance. The Arthouse Pavilion Gallery at 25 Muraban Road Dural is owned by local artist Merilyn Chappel.

NOVEMBER 20: Artist Val Wright will exhibit her watercolour paintings in her Galston studio from November 20 to 26. Original paintings, framed or mounted and backed, together with prints and a range of greetings cards, will be for sale. After travelling extensively in the outback, she has been inspired by Australian animals and birds in particular. NOVEMBER 28: Small Works exhibition “2020 What A Year!” at the Ferry Artists Gallery in Wisemans Ferry Central. The opening evening will showcase artworks large and small, to ceramics, art glass, jewellery, textiles, metal and wood sculptures. The open Showcase evening is Saturday November 28 from 6-8pm but the Gallery is open daily between 10am and 4pm at Wiseman Ferry Central. For details visit www.ferryartists.org
