NEW LOOK SCHOOL

Term 4 is going start in a new look environment for students at Schofields Public School which has undergone a $32 million upgrade.

The completed project has delivered 27 new classrooms, including three special education classrooms, and upgraded facilities including a new library, new staff/administration areas, amenities and a new covered outdoor learning area (COLA).

Member for Riverstone Kevin Conolly said he was thrilled the upgrade to Schofields Public School was complete.

“These great new facilities will benefit the local community for generations to come,” he said.

The library and all classrooms are airconditioned, in line with the NSW Government policy of providing air-conditioning to new schools and installing air-conditioning in classrooms of about 900 existing schools over five years through the Cooler Classrooms program.

“I know the students, parents and teachers will be very excited to see the wonderful new facilities,” Mr Conolly said
