Dead Kayaker Pulled from the Water in Upper Colo

A man has died after being pulled from the water in the Hawkesbury.

At about 12:22 pm yesterday, on the 2^nd of December 2024, emergency services were called to Upper Colo Road, Upper Colo, following reports a male kayaker had been pulled from the water.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene; however, the 38-year-old man died at the scene.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

Officers attached to Hawkesbury Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
