Create and tame a little chaos by weaving cane into a basket or sculptured vessel. Have fun learning the technique of random weave. Morning tea will be provided as well as great conversation with basketry hints and tips along the way. Notes and all weaving materials will be provided. Suitable for all skill levels.

I’m a firm believer that everything has an inherent value and should not be wasted. I have been experimenting with natural fibres, grasses, vines, recycled materials and other materials found in my local environment to turn what might have been wasted into something useful and pleasing to the eye, hence Waste Not Fibre Designs. Each piece is unique, drawing from whatever comes to hand that sparks my imagination.
