CLUB’S OVER 55 DEVELOPMENT

AN Over 55s development with 250 apartments adjacent to Castle Hill RSL has been approved by the Sydney Central Planning Committee and Hills Shire Council.

The luxury lifestyle community will offer one, two and three bedroom apartments, and a collection of three bedroom penthouses.

David O’Neil, Group Chief Executive Officer of CHRG said: “We are both pleased and excited to receive a unanimous approval as it reinforces the care and consideration that has been taken to understand the needs of our local community and deliver something that exceeds their needs and expectations,” he said.

“Far from slowing down, today’s over 55s are embracing the freedom, excitement and new possibilities that come with retirement. The residential lifestyle development has been designed with this in mind – ensuring future residents can take advantage of everything the Hills has to offer, while enjoying a lifestyle like no other.”

Building heights are 5-6 storeys with generous-sized apartments. When completed , the site will provide 1,473 car spaces – in front of the Club’s main entry and underneath the future residential development (700 more than currently available).

A pedestrian through-site link will provide a clear and safe pedestrian pathway from Britannia Road to Castle Street.

An additional 250 trees will be planted across the site. CHRG (formerly referred to as Castle Hill RSL Group) owns and operates a diverse range of places – including Castle Hill RSL Club, Castle Hill Fitness & Aquatic Centre, Parramatta RSL, the new Club Parramatta, Lynwood Country Club and Lynwood Golf, on behalf of its 50,000 members
