Closure of Galston Gorge

Closure of Galston Gorge. Starts tomorrow Monday 8 Aug 2022 The stabilisation work will strengthen the retaining wall and is a preventative measure to reduce the chances of road closures in the future.

To facilitate these works, there will be a full road closure of Galston Road between Hornsby Heights and Galston from Monday 8 August 2022 for a period of up to two months, weather permitting.

Detours will be in place throughout the closure. Visual messaging signage will show detours and any changed conditions.

Please allow extra time for travel and follow the direction of signage and keep to speed limits.
