Kellyville Kolts and Quakers Hill Tigers junior football teams will be counting on home support to win their clashes in this weekend’s 54th Champion of Champions at Valentine Sports Park, Glenwood.

The Kellyville Kolts, representing Hills Football, and Quakers Hill Tigers from the Blacktown District Soccer FA, are among the more than 300 teams who have been competing in Football NSW’s knockout tournament over the past few weeks.

On Saturday, October 19, Kellyville Kolts SC will take on Eschol Park FC at 11:30am in their Boys 15 years final while Quakers Hill Tigers face Linfield FC at 1pm. Being local teams, the Kolts and the Tigers can expect their fans to raise their tempo against their visiting opponents.

A Football NSW spokesman said this is one of their most popular events for grassroots football. In terms of representatives in the final, the Manly Warringah Football Association (MWFA) will field the most teams – 10 underlining the strength of grass roots football on the Northern Beaches.

Northern Suburbs FA (9), Football Canterbury (3), Eastern Suburbs FA (3), the Sutherland Shire FA , Blacktown District Soccer FA, Central Coast Football, Football South Coast, Hills Football, Macarthur FA, Nepean FA, North West Sydney FA and Albury Wodonga FA are competing with Manly Waringah for honours in the two-day tournament.

All 18 matches will also be streamed live and exclusive on Football NSW’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
