Since their inception the club has raised over $180,000 for various charities including The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. They run men’s and women’s rugby union teams from their home ground at Kellyville Park.

Australia Post organised an opportunity to apply for its ‘People of Post’ Grant. As the club regularly applies for grant funding to support their goals and run their club, Owen Watson, a supervisor at Chullora parcel delivery centre, put in the application.

Renegades Rugby were delighted to be among 47 recipients of grants around NSW. They were awarded $1,000 for Renegades Rugby Kit for new players jerseys. Owen has been with Renegades Rugby since 2014. He is a committee member and regularly helps with meat-tray raffles which raise money for the Westmead Children’s Hospital.

Club Secretary, Nick Pfitzner, said “This grant will be of great help to offset the cost of purchasing the playing kit necessary for our teams”.
