New Ambulance Station for South Windsor

Robyn Preston MP welcomes the announcement by the NSW Government of a new ambulance station to be located on Acacia Close, South Windsor.

NSW Health Infrastructure will now proceed with design, community consultation and seek planning approval from Hawkesbury City Council.

Ms Preston said “This is positive news for our growing community. I understand the site was chosen based on service demand. NSW Ambulance staff deserve the best facilities and latest technology.

I thank our ambulance staff for their hard work in challenging conditions, particularly through the COVID-19 pandemic and the stress they face every day in such a demanding job.

I encourage the community to engage in the consultation process. This new ambulance station is designed to better serve the Hawkesbury region. The next priority is to secure an ambulance facility on the North Richmond side of the river, and I will be advocating for this outcome.”
