Tech Savvy Seniors – Smartphone and Tablet Skills

Are smart devices an enigma to you? Do you have difficulties using apps, taking photos, or shopping online on your digital devices? If so, then come along to the free ‘Tech Savvy Seniors’ introductory workshops offered by Hawkesbury Library Service during March.

Introduction to using Tablets
Monday, 12 March 6:15pm to 7:45pm at Richmond Branch Library

Introduction to using Smart Phones
Monday, 19 March 6:15pm to 7:45pm at Richmond Branch Library

Introduction to using Smart Phones
Monday, 26 March 10am to midday at Hawkesbury Central Library

In upcoming workshops in April and May, you will gain confidence and skills in downloading apps, using Facebook and practicing safe online shopping.

These workshops are available for Library members. If you are not a member, you can join for free at the library. Participants need to bring along their own tablet or smartphone. Bookings are essential by calling 4560 4460.

Sessions will be held at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor and Richmond Branch Library, 26 West Market Street, Richmond.

Tech Savvy Seniors is an initiative of the NSW Ageing Strategy and is funded through a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra, and with the assistance and participation of Hawkesbury Library Service.
