Stepping Stones Triple P – Parenting Support Talks

Most of the time, you know you are doing a good job with parenting but there are times when things get a little tricky. Like when your toddler won’t eat their dinner or your six year old won’t share their toys. If only someone could give you some ideas to make those times easier!

If this sounds like you, then Stepping Stones Triple P seminars may be right for you. Hawkesbury Library Service invites all parents of children with a developmental disability aged 2 to 12 to attend the following free parenting seminar series:

POSITIVE PARENTING FOR CHILDREN WITH A DISABILITY
Wednesday, 16 March 10.30 am-12.30 pm
This session introduces parents to the seven core principals of positive parenting.

HELPING YOUR CHILD REACH THEIR POTENTIAL
Wednesday, 23 March 10.30 am-12.30 pm
Learn how to use positive parenting principles to promote your child’s development by teaching them new skills and behaviours.

CHANGING PROBLEM BEHAVIOUR INTO POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR
Wednesday, 30 March 10.30 am-12.30 pm
Unsure how to manage problem behaviour? Be introduced to key steps that will help children reach alternative and more adaptive behaviour patterns.
