Sharpen your food handling skills

If you’re working or hoping to work in the food industry, now’s your chance to learn how to handle food properly and understand your legal obligations, with Hawkesbury City Council offering a food handling seminar on Wednesday, 26 April 2017.

The seminar will run from 5pm to 8pm at Hawkesbury Leisure & Learning Centre at 114 March St, Richmond NSW at a low cost of $51.50 per participant. The seminars have proven to be very popular with community members whether they are working in a café, restaurant, service club sausage sizzle or the local school canteen Whether you’re working or seeking to work in the food industry, or simply a concerned about food safety at home this would be a great course.

Topics covered in the three hour seminar include personal hygiene, time and temperature, food preparation and storage, and cleaning and maintenance. All participants receive an informative summary kit as well as a Certificate of Attendance. Bookings are essential, visit
