Rosalind Carlson’s Girls Win Again

Arcadia resident, music educator and composer, Rosalind Carlson, has been entering  winning choirs into Eisteddfods since 1959.

This year was no different when her chamber choir The Carlson Chorale competed in the Ryde Eisteddfod, winning – Section 105 –
A Capella Choir Open Age, the Federated Music Clubs of Australia Philip & Peggy Woods Award and Section 106 The Ryde City Council Choral Award – Open age.

The Carlson Chorale can be heard in their annual concert recital, given this year on Sunday November 22 at the Convent Chapel, Mt. St. Benedict Convent at 3 pm.   Enquiries: (02)96531066.
