Family history research skills

Whether you are new to family history or have been researching for some time, you might be interested in attending one of the free sessions at Hawkesbury Library Service during October.

Have you got a problem you need help solving? Perhaps you need guidance with the direction of your family history research or finding relevant resources. Come along to our session on FAMILY HISTORY BRICKWALLS on Tuesday, 11 October 6:30 to 8:30pm and our specialised staff may be able to assist. Bookings essential. Phone 4560 4460 or email [email protected].

PORTALS TO FAMILY HISTORY will be presented by Wayne Kedward on Wednesday, 12 October at 10am the Hawkesbury Family History Group Meeting. Wayne will share some of the opportunities and resources he has used to trace elusive ancestors, with examples from his own bizarre and curious family. He will encourage you to think outside the square and expand on how some of these records may fill in the gaps in your research. Anyone interested in family and local history is welcome to attend, bookings not required for this session.

Anyone interested in local and family history is welcome to attend these free events at Hawkesbury Library, 300 George Street, Windsor.
