Enrol now for Free Conservation and Land Management Course

Western Sydney Institute TAFE along with Hawkesbury City Council is providing a free ‘Introduction to Conservation and Land Management’ course designed to support volunteers and others looking to enter the bush regeneration industry.

The training will be held fortnightly and will enhance existing bush regeneration knowledge and empower those who undertake bush regeneration by honing their skills and information base.

Beginning on Wednesday evenings from 4 May, this course is free to smart and skilled eligible students who are 15 years and over and no longer at school, as well as volunteers involved in bush regeneration.

“Anyone who is involved with Bushcare, Landcare, Scouts, landscapers, environmental educators of natural areas and similar will benefit greatly from this course,” said Mayor, Kim Ford.

“The course will be run by experts in the field, and will give all those interested in bush regeneration the knowledge they need to drive their passion for caring for our environment,” he added.
