Castle Hill Library open extended hours for HSC study

Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne, is encouraging HSC students who need study space to make the most of Castle Hill Library’s special extended Sunday hours – just for HSC students.

“Having studied for 27 years straight, I can appreciate the value of a designated study space,” Mayor Byrne said.

“We value our HSC students and recognise the hard work they do, so we are opening Castle Hill Library exclusively for HSC students on Sundays mornings for the five weeks leading up to exam time,” she said.

Castle Hill Library will open from 9.30am to 1pm on Sundays including 25 September and 2, 9, 16 and 23 October. Chapters Café will be open, offering student specials.

“Everything students need will be on hand – computers, wifi, photocopying, printing and staff assistance will all be available,” Mayor Byrne said.

“Studying for the HSC is one of the most challenging things young people can do, and this is just one way we can help. Good luck to all of our students!”
