Annual Art Exhibition

Our child care centre located in Quakers Hill held its 3 rd annual art exhibition on Friday 21 st October in the hopes of raising much needed funds for Westmead Children’s hospital and The Ponds School. For a couple of weeks before all of the children were busy creating 4 amazing artworks each that were on display and then sold to their parents. There was also a giant raffle with over 90 prizes donated by local businesses, a cake stall, BBQ and very special visit from Bandage Bear who made the trip out from Westmead Children’s Hospital.

The aim of the night is to not only teach the children the importance of helping others less fortunate then themselves but it is also to celebrate their artistic development and to bring the community together as one for this important cause.

On the night we raised over $3,000 with the owners of the centre pledging to match every dollar raised taking our grand total to over $6,000.

This event is something our whole centre community looks forward to celebrating every year.
