2,000 jobs created

Working where you live is always an attractive thought and this will become reality for hundreds with the opening of the new North Kellyville Square shopping centre, on Tuesday 11 July 2017.

RG Property has developed the 6,500 square metre convenience centre at the corner of Hezlett and Withers Road, North Kellyville.

Emma Goldring, Centre Manager from North Kellyville Square said, “This is a significant ongoing boost to local employment. Since we commenced the development of the centre we have had more than 1,560 staff on site working on the project.”

A further 300 retail and service roles will be available once the centre opens in July. This includes bakery and restaurant staff, fitness professionals and supermarket employees at The Hills newest Woolworths.

The stores are currently in the final stages of setting up shop and staffing. Goldring said, “It’s getting really exciting, and particularly for retail staff in the area. To be able to provide opportunities for local employment for members of the community is a great thing.”

North Kellyville Square is in close proximity to the North West Rail Link, currently under construction, great local schools and is in an area that is set to grow exponentially over the coming years.

North Kellyville Square is set to officially open on 11 July.
